Cathi Coates

Cathi played attack at Lynchburg College and was named to both the
All-State team and the All-National tournament team in 1982. She was
the leading scorer at Lynchburg earning MVP and Captain titles. She is
currently a member of the Board of Directors for “Beach” Lacrosse and
coached for 8 years with the Beach program. Cathi spent 1 year as the
Head Coach and 1 year as the Assistant Coach for the middle school team
at Worcester Prep. She has coached the GTLax 2010 team for the past 2
years.
Paul Peksa

Paul has over 6 years of coaching experience. Paul coached the U-11's
for the Salisbury Lacrosse Club for 2 years, coached a local high school
tournament team for 3 years, and coached the Varsity James M. Bennett
Indoor Lacrosse team for the past 5 years. His daughter Katie began
playing in 1998, attended and played at Ohio University and has been a
member of the Canadian National Team for the past 4 years. His daughter
Jessie played at the University of Vermont. In addition to his passion
for women's lacrosse, Paul coached Varsity football and track at the
Maryland School for the Deaf. Paul lives in Salisbury with his wife of
26 years, Robin, and is a Pediatric Audiologist.
Terry Vincent

Terry has coached girl's youth lacrosse with the Salisbury Lacrosse Club
(SLC) for the past 5 years. He is currently the girl's director for
SLC. Terry coached the 2006 U-11 team to LaxMax, winning the tournament
as an undefeated team. Terry is also a certified youth lacrosse
referee. In addition Terry has coached little league football for 7
years, served as Assistant coach for boys high school football for 3
years, and served as Head Coach for boys Senior League baseball for over
10 years. Terry lives in Salisbury with his wife Patty and their
daughter Kelsey.

Joe played Football and Club Lacrosse at Towson University. He is the Assistant Varsity coach for the men's lacrosse team at Easton High School. He has also coached both boys and girls lacrosse with the Talbot Lacrosse rec program for the past 10 years and currently coaches his son's club travel team as well. Joe and his wife Mary live in Easton. They have four children, Josh plays lacrosse at York College, Allie (GTLax 2009) plays lacrosse at Pfieffer in North Carolina.
Rich Larrimore

Rich was a defensive player and then goalie at Franklin High School and
played club ball in college. He has been coaching both boys and girl's
lacrosse teams with the Kent Island Comets for the past 7 years. He
coached 2 U-15 girls teams to the US Lacrosse Festival. In 2005 Rich
became the Head Coach for the GTLax 2009 Team. He coached that team
through graduation and saw 19 of his 21 players go on to play lacrosse
in college. Rich also coaches youth football in Kent Island. Rich lives
in Kent Island with his wife Kendall and their four children, Ren,
Storm, Jake, and Chance.

Scott Lathroum

GTLax is pleased to welcome Scott Lathroum as the co-Head Coach of the 2015 team. Scott is a 1974 graduate of Parkville High School where he played lacrosse and soccer. He attended Salisbury State where he played lacrosse for four years and was named an All American. In 1979 he was the JV Mens Lacrosse coach at Salisbury State. Scott has coached both girls and boys rec teams with the Beach Lacrosse program for six years. He is the current Assistant mens Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Stephen Decatur High School and is the Head Coach of the U-13 Coastal Lacrosse Boys team. Scott lives in Bishopville with his wife Angie and their three children, Ali and Chele (who play lacrosse at Towson) and Jake.

Page comes to GTLax with an impressive personal resume and a rich family
tradition of lacrosse. She attended both Saint Paul's School for Girls
and Roland Park Country School where she played 4 years of Varsity
Field Hockey, 3 years Varsity Basketball, and 4 years of Varsity
Lacrosse. She was highly recruited out of the class of 1995 and chose
the University of Maryland where she played one year and transferred to
Towson. From 1997-1999 she played for Team Toyota and was finally
forced to the sidelines by a discectomy and spinal fusion. While in
Baltimore she was the Head JV Basketball, Head JV Lacrosse, and
Assistant Varsity Field Hockey coach at Roland Park Country School. She
also coached lacrosse at the Friends School and The Garrison Forest
School. Page is the daughter of Dick Watts, Head Men's Lacrosse Coach
at UMBC for 25 years and current member of the National Men's Lacrosse
Hall of Fame. Both her father, and brother Allen played at Johns
Hopkins and her brother David played at the University of Delaware.
Alexis Absher

We would like to extend a warm welcome to the newest member of our GTLax coaching staff! Alexis grew up in New Jersey where she attended Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ. In High School she played Varsity Field Hockey, Varsity Lacrosse, and was on the swim team. During her time at Shawnee High School the Varsity women's lacrosse team was ranked in the top 10 in the country. Alexis went on to play at Salisbury University for four years where she was a defender for Jim Nestor. Alexis coached Field Hockey at James M. Bennett for one year, and was the Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Bennett for two years. She was the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Cambridge-South Dorchester for one year. Alexis has also coached with Eastern Shore Lacrosse and has worked numerous camps.
